火神の子に恋は許されない。
淡い恋心に勝てなかったるなに、火神からの罰が下る。

火神の子として生きる高校生、るな。
かつて火神の子であり、鍼灸院を経営する祖母、「おばば」と一緒に暮らしている。
鍼灸院では火神の子であるるなの血が入ったモグサを使い、「自己実現」を売っている。いわゆる信者ビジネスである。
るなは「宗教の人」としてクラスでいじめられるが、唯一の理解者であるスバルとは良い友人関係を築いている。
ある日、るながいじめられているところをクラスの人気者、ケンショーが助けてくれる。
その出来事をきっかけにふたりは距離を縮め、るなはケンショーに恋をしてしまう。
だが、神の子であるるなに恋は許されない。
るなは、ケンショーを「ビジネス」に取り込むことを決意する。
思わせぶりな態度をとってきたケンショーへの復讐である。
将来ビジネスで身を立てたいと望むケンショーはおばばとるなが主宰する「火神の医学」に入り、火神からビジネスの才能を買った。
ケンショーを「客」として見ようと努めてきたるなだったが、初めての淡い恋心には勝てなかった。
恋をしたことで、火神からの罰を受けたるな。そしてある日突然学校をやめた。
果たしてるなの行方は。そしてスバルとケンショーのその後の人生は。
物語は、10年後からまた始まる。
